Wegovy

Scheinblum Medical

HOW IT WORKS?

Also known as semaglutide, WEGOVYslows down food leaving your stomach, reduces the amount of sugar released by your liver, and increases the amount of insulin released by your pancreas in response to high blood sugar levels. Together, these actions can result in a healthier and more regulated blood sugar level for those with diabetes and weight reduction.

Combined with healthy lifestyle changes, WEGOVY promotes weight loss by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake.
